Current trends and future of cancer care
Prof Pierce Chow is Professor and Program Director at the Duke-NUS Medical School and Senior Consultant Surgeon at the National Cancer Centre Singapore and the Singapore General Hospital. He is concurrently a National Medical Research Council funded Senior Clinician-Scientist and was the founding President of the College of Clinician Scientists, Academy of Medicine Singapore.
Specializing in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery, he co-founded the Asia-Pacific Hepatocellular Carcinoma Trials Group, leading numerous clinical studies in liver cancer. Among his many accolades, in 2024, he was inducted into the Master Academic Clinicians Hall by the SingHealth-Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre.
