Among Vibhas’ achievements is conceptualizing and initiating the first carbon-neutral radiology imaging service between Siemens Healthineers and the University of California San Francisco.

Director, External Engagements and Collaborations for Diagnostics, Siemens-Healthineers 

Dr. Donald Chalfin (“Dr. Don”) is a board-certified critical care and internal medicine physician, who has been with Siemens Healthineers since 2020, and has served on the Medical Affairs team for Diagnostics since 2022. Dr. Don is currently a medical director on the Medical Affairs team and has devoted many of his efforts to liver disease diagnostics, with a focus specifically on the Enhanced Liver Fibrosis ELF™ Test for advanced liver fibrosis. Among Dr. Don’s accomplishments are developing the Investigator Initiated Study Program for MASLD, MASH, and liver fibrosis diagnostics and contributing to the strategy for advanced liver fibrosis/ELF related studies, in pursuit of earlier detection of this silent killer. Dr. Don contributes his unique perspective as a patient affected by this disease. He is a part of the Sepsis Strategy Team for the Center for Innovation in Diagnostics at Siemens Healthineers and works with the health economics group on various studies. Dr. Don is a thought leader in critical care medicine and health economic methods and is passionate about graduate and undergraduate medical teaching. He has been an invited speaker at many national and international medical and scientific meetings along with his work on sepsis, other topics in critical care medicine, health economics, and more recently on his experience as a MASLD/MASH patient and liver transplant and liver cancer survivor. He continues to practice and see patients who require critical care services and ICU admission.
